Terms of use
Wradial is pre-1.0 software offered as a free public beta. These terms describe what you agree to when you download the app or use wradial.com and community.wradial.com.
The short version
- You can install, use, and share Wradial for personal or commercial work.
- The beta is provided "as-is." Don't run production-critical workflows on it without a backup plan.
- Don't redistribute modified installers under the Wradial name or reverse-engineer to clone it.
- Don't use the app, site, or community for anything illegal or targeted at harming others.
- We can update these terms — we'll announce meaningful changes on the site and in the newsletter.
1. License to use the software
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to install and use the Wradial desktop app for any lawful purpose. The app's binaries remain our property; this license does not grant you rights to the source code, trademarks, or brand assets.
2. Beta status
Wradial is pre-release software. Features may change or be removed. You may encounter bugs, stability issues, or breaking changes between versions. We recommend keeping a backup of any configuration you rely on. If you need a system that carries SLAs or formal support, Wradial is not yet that system.
3. Acceptable use
When using the app, site, or community, you agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws or infringe the rights of others.
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise the infrastructure that serves the site or community.
- Impersonate Wradial staff or another user.
- Post content that is harassing, hateful, or that targets individuals.
- Distribute modified installers under the Wradial name.
The community has additional posting guidelines shown during signup and on each category.
4. User content in the community
You retain ownership of what you post. By posting on community.wradial.com you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and redistribute that content as part of the community. You can delete your posts at any time; we will process deletion requests within a reasonable period.
5. Third-party services
Some surfaces rely on third parties: the newsletter is served by Zoho Campaigns, the sites are served by Cloudflare Pages, fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Their terms govern the pieces they provide. Our privacy policy describes what each service sees.
6. Disclaimer & liability
Wradial is provided "as-is" and "as-available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the app, site, or community — including lost data, lost productivity, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid us for the software, which for the beta is zero.
7. Termination
You can stop using Wradial at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend a community account that materially violates these terms; where possible we'll notify you and give you a chance to respond.
8. Changes
We can update these terms. Meaningful changes will be announced on the site and in the newsletter, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
